1) If you have the gamedata files unpacked into the stalker directory, then you need to
back them up in the case you need to remove these shaders. 2)Unpack the contents of this zip archive to the root directory for stalker! For example... C:\program files\THQ\STALKER\.... The file structure within this zip file MUST be kept intact or it will not work, period. 3) You may need to change your FSGAME.LTX file. the second line that says something about gamedata location, change the false there to true if they aren't both true. You'll understand once you see it. 4)I can be reached via IRC on the arstechnica irc server "irc.arstechnica.com". Join channel #arsificial and look for me, my name there is jjwalker. If i sent this to you via email, then you can email me also or of course contact me via the ars technica forums. 5)Glitches, bugs, flickers, hiccups and anything that seems odd or out of the ordinary is not stupid. please let me know anything and everything in which may concern you or impede playability. 6)IMPORTANT!! The source code files contained within have some comments made by me, but not all changes have been documented. Any comments made explicitly by myself are preceded by an exclamation point "!". |
