A new tool has been added to the toolbox that allows users to edit bookmarks in PDF files – ideal for improved navigation and document structure.

The toolbox now includes a repair tool that can restore and make damaged PDF files readable again.

PDF files are now loaded via a different method. This is faster and no longer blocks the user interface. While this was barely noticeable with small files, it makes a difference with larger ones.

File loading in the drop zone has been optimized and is now approximately 30% faster.

A bug in the conversion tool that could lead to incorrect or empty file names, error messages, or even crashes of the toolbox has been fixed.

PDFs that have already been unlocked no longer need to be unlocked again. This speeds up tools like compression when using different settings.

Files that have already been converted to PDF are now remembered to avoid unnecessary repeated conversions – saving time in specific use cases.

The "Fit to Page" tool has been slightly improved. The new version calculates the zoom based on the most visible page.

When a new file is opened, it now automatically receives focus so that, for example, navigation via arrow keys works immediately.

The PDF preview handler now also has a dark and a light design like the PDF24 reader.

All existing language files have been updated, and missing translations have been added to ensure full multilingual support.

The SVG2PDF tool has been updated – important for functions like Edit, Sign, and Annotate within the toolbox. A problem has also been fixed which caused a conversion to take half an eternity.

A template for the "Send Email" command has been added to the Autosave section, simplifying configuration.

New options have been added allowing logos and attachments to be defined via file path or URL (logoFile, logoUrl, attachment.file, attachment.url).

The extended ZUGFeRD profile is now supported – also via command line.

When processing XML invoices via command line, existing line item IDs are now preserved.

Placeholders in payment terms and references are now also replaced when invoices are generated via the command line.

The following fields have been added: BT-121, BT-140, BT-145, BT-98, BT-105, BT-19.

A 1-cent rounding optimization is now available when entering gross unit prices. Since not all validation tools support this, there is a checkbox to deactivate strict rounding rules.
