FastVoodoo2
4.6 is the latest driver for 3dfx Voodoo2 video cards and
Microsoft Windows 95/98/98SE/ME Operative Systems. This
release does possible running games on Voodoo2 SLI
configurations done by mismatched cards: we remember mismatched means two no same manufacturer boards go to make up your
Voodoo2 SLI setup: for example one arrives from Creative and one from Diamond. FastVoodoo2
4.6 works fine with a great set of hardware and software systems
using ATI or nVIDIA based primary card: it requires Microsoft
DirectX API v. 7.x or above and has not compatibility issues
with 8.x or latest 9.x DX releases. We suggest to use this driver with
MesaFX libraries to enhance Voodoo2 hardware performance and/or compatibility playing newer OpenGL based
games, like Unreal Tournament 2004, or older, like Serious Sam
The Second Encounter. In
this package also are included some game patches, technology
demos, registry files to manually set up the optimal monitor
refresh frequency and some screenshots useful as wallpapers.
