Reloading W2K with Voodoo3

I had a system crash and had to replace the HD on my system with a new one.  I have reloaded W2K Pro and have a VooDoo3 card on an older Gateway system.  I remember some years ago when I upgraded this system from W98 to W2K, there was a sequence of stuff I had to do to get this card to work with W2K but I can't find the info on what I had to do.  Everything seems to work good until I kick off explorer and hit a web site.  At that point the mouse becomes erratic and the screen starts painting in blocks.  I have to reboot to be able to use it (or unplug the thing).  After a reboot, things are fine until I kick off explorer again.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
The Network Guru
