Few test i done on my Voodoo3 2000 PCI, Duron 1800+ Pro, 128MB DDR333,SB live Value system,

Quake 3 timedemo01 game with 3dfx Opengl drivers v761, has 75 Fps
Quake 3 timedemo01 game with Mesa first version, 66 Fps

I think this change in the future, when the Mesa drivers will more optimized, (I am glad to you for new OGL drivers for 3dfx hardware¡)

3dfx driver worked marvelously for Quake3. Yet, Quake3 is not the only game out there. In fact, that's the whole point: their driver works for Quake3. Ours works for Quake3 and much more. Plase do not post on this thread anymore. There is a thread for Mesa already! And I am not god! I can't be in many places in the same time.

Hi
Congratulations on your work with MESAFX.
Since the subject of this top is Voodoo3 i posted my message here:D
I'd like to report a bug or something like that with Mesa.
I have a Voodoo3 with Amigamerlin 2.9
Although some applications work fine when i rename the 3dfxogl.dll to opengl32.dll,
when i use all versions of the mesafx 5.1 dlls i get the message:
Can't create a GL Rendering context.

For example you could download this small file
http://visuals.free.vovoid.com/vsx0433r.exe

Keep up good work.
