dude, what is the matter with you? you should know by know what LOD bias means and how can affect the application. i know that you know, because i told you. shall i present a drawing, too?

You may notice some texture aliasing when moving with sharpest LoD bias. Anyway, nice pics (for a V3). I didn't belive that this game would be so friendly with it;)

I quote here the 3dfx tools :

Level of Detail Bias - This control changes the Level of Detail (LOD) bias used for MIP mapping. Moving the slider control will either add or subtract a bias from the LOD computed during MIP mapping, making textures appear either sharper or blurrier. Decreasing this bias can result in improved visual detail, but may reduce performance accordingly. Also, excessive bias can result in texture aliasing.

In very short :
A lower (negative) setting makes textures sharper at a cost of performance.
A higher (positive) setting makes textures blurrier but can increase the game speed.

Frankly, at higher than 0, often the image quality will be worse (except if you like it).

Since the game seems a little slow, the best would be to play with the settings of the game.

but with a load bias at - 8 (!), the game will stay always slow.
Try to put the load bias -> 0.
