Installed driver for t&l, now game wont start up

I am having problems With No one lives forever 2, It gave me a system error of no T&L in video card and no 8.1 installed on sytem. I currently have 9.0 dx on my system and installed a driver that has geometry assist, but when I get to the very start of the game it takes me back to win98 start screen, what gives. How can I remeide this problem?

If this game needs T&L, you need 3DAnalyzer
If you are under XP, try this patch

But i guess that you're under Win9x since you're using a driver having the geometry assist. This function in the driver is not sufficiant. Download 3dAnalyzer, the last version 2.31 and try to run the game with it.

Geometry assist is good ONLY for some games that are based on DirectX-7.
NOLF 2 is a DirectX-8 game, so disable geometry assist and try 3D-Analyze.
