Rare, probably not.... only the BGA is the older... My V3 2000 PCI is dated 1699... 2 weeks newer than yours.. but have the new logo in the BGA and the PCB...

from ur site:

QuoteThere's one game made after 2002, thats Hover Ace(2003)

"Hover ACE" was released in the 2k3, but doesn't support Glide, this game needs a full dx8 video card.

Page: http://www.strategyfirst.com/scripts/Redir.asp?iGameID=101&sLanguageCode=EN

But.....

Exist a old game called "HoveRACE" that was maded in 1999, and this game have Glide support...

Page: http://russobit-m.ru/eng/games/hoverace/

Look like this game are similar, maded by the same developer, but have different HW support...

Just doing a little and carefully google search.. it's confusing...

I alredy told... are suppositions... and 1.2Ghz for mid range, depending of the CPU.. if u r talking of a duron or celeron, even a VIA... this are low-end CPU... but if u r talking of an Athlon XP 1800 (1.2ghz) is a mid-low range CPU, because is cost effective (better performance that even a celeron @ 2.0 Ghz).

Ok.. but.. u get a specific trouble or what?, any message?, any waring?... something like that?...

From MS WMC 2k5 FAQ's:

Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 is a Windows XP operating system available only on Media Center personal computers. Because of their special hardware feature requirements.

Quote
Q. What is a Media Center PC, and what kind of hardware components does it include?

A. Media Center PCs are complete desktop PCs equipped with hardware and software to deliver advanced computing and rich digital entertainment experiences. Media Center PCs include mid- to high-end processors, high-capacity hard drives, CD-ROM and DVD drives, and optionally, a remote control. The systems feature advanced graphics and audio capabilities, as well as networking connectivity.

Ok... at this point, we are talking of mid to high end components, so could be this:

Processor= 1.2 Ghz - 3.3 Ghz (mid to high)
Memory = At lease 256Mb I guess
GFX= High-end GFX, with TV-Turner and HDTV support, o minimun a gf4 or ati  9200..... this means a loooooooooooot of memory in the gfx....
Sound Card = 6.1 or more support

This are suppositions, because I couldn't find the system requirements...

what's ur exactly problem?....

Could be that Nitrox is right about the GFX of 64mb?.. since the V3 have only 16mb...

Ok... sounds like an AGP Universal Slot... I download the manual from this MB, and I couldn't find the sentence that u said...

Say that the Slot supports AGP 4x Especifications, but doesn't say that is only an AGP 4x (1.5V)... So feel free for use it with your Voodoo card...

But if u prefer to wait for another answere, could be better...

SFFT:

I was trying the Swat 4 Demo, and the games runs really fast... but I get some "artifacts" in some parts (almost in doors, boxes, little items), I think that the game use "Unreal II" engine....

I'll post a couple of screenshots and a ZIP file with 11 screenshots if someone want to see it...

There is a way to solve this trouble?..

Demo direct Link:

ftp://ftp.sunet.se/pub/pc/games/pcgameworld/demos/swat4_spdemo_en.exe

Settings:
SFFT Alpha 23
Amd 2500+
512 RAM
V5 5500 PCI
1024x768x32
FSAA 2x
In game all put to "Medium"

Thnx... :D
