will this game run an a voodoo 5500 the game a lot like age of empires 3 i just got a new motherboard form ebay that has a p4 2 ghz and 512 ddr ram and a 2x/4x agp its not here yet but i like know now if anyone got it running  you would need 3d analyze for the t&l

Theoretically the game should run on a V5, as it runs on a Geforce2.
But I have never been able to run it, it simply exits to desktop.
Even 3DA didnt help.

How about using WinXP Pro 32 + SP3 with SFFT 1.5 and the latest 3D analyze?

Just a deep thought, it may be the T&L which is holding you back.

You could also give AM2.9 a shot under 98SE with Emulate T&L also an idea

the game will not run in win 98 only win2k winxp and vista

I'll find a way to play it  there might be a ting that stops you if you have 3dfx card like the config  file in halo

yes I tried every SFFT since Alpha 48 with 3D-Analyze, but had no luck.
Unfortunately there is no BSOD, it just exits to desktop.

hmm strange really if a GF2 can run it you''d expect a V5 to do the same heh, well it seems that T&L is a minimal requirement for that game, if a VGA does not have it it won't run.

I wonder if it can be ported to OpenGL, youmay get it work'n with MesaFX 6.2.0.2 heh just if this was possible.
