Apple ha aggiornato il MacBook Air con i più recenti processori Intel Core, grafica più veloce e un’archiviazione flash fino a due volte più veloce della generazione precedente.* Anche l’attuale generazione di MacBook Pro 13" e 15" è stata aggiornata con gli ultimi processori Intel Core e una potente grafica discreta da NVIDIA. La famosa AirPort Express è stata riprogettata e include ora funzioni precedentemente disponibili solo su AirPort Extreme.

Disponibile nei modelli da 11" e 13", il nuovo MacBook Air è dotato degli ultimi processori dual-core Core i5 e Core i7 ed è perfetto per navigare sul web, creare filmati e gestire le foto. La nuova grafica integrata Intel HD Graphics 4000 è fino al 60 percento più veloce e assicura al MacBook Air tutta la potenza richiesta da giochi e video.** MacBook Air ha inoltre un’archiviazione flash fino a quattro volte più veloce rispetto ai dischi rigidi tradizionali, per prestazioni instant-on e accesso rapido ad applicazioni e dati. E grazie ai 4GB di memoria più veloce, espandibili fino a 8GB, anche le app con elevati requisiti di memoria vengono gestite con estrema fluidità. MacBook Air ha inoltre una nuova videocamera FaceTime HD che fornisce video in alta definizione a 720p. 

Il MacBook Pro 13" include gli ultimi processori dual-core Intel Core i5 o Core i7 fino a 2,9GHz con velocità Turbo Boost fino a 3,6GHz. Il MacBook Pro 15" offre invece gli ultimi processori quad-core Intel Core i7 fino a 2,7GHz con velocità Turbo Boost fino a 3,7GHz e grafica discreta NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M. Entrambi i modelli da 13" e 15" possono essere configurati con un disco rigido da 1TB o con unità SSD fino a 512GB, fino a due volte più veloci della generazione precedente.

MacBook Air e MacBook Pro sono entrambi dotati di una porta Thunderbolt ultraveloce e due porte USB 3.0 per collegare monitor esterni e un’ampia gamma di periferiche ad alte prestazioni. L’autonomia in wireless è fino a 7 ore per il MacBook Air 13" e il MacBook Pro 13" e 15", e fino a 5 ore per il MacBook Air 11". Le batterie dei notebook Mac si avvalgono di un’evoluta composizione chimica e della tecnologia Adaptive Charging per garantire fino a 1000 ricariche.***

Il MacBook Air e il MacBook Pro includono di serie OS X Lion. A partire da oggi, i clienti che acquistano un Mac avranno diritto a una copia gratuita di OS X Mountain Lion non appena sarà disponibile. Mountain Lion introduce funzioni innovative come la nuovissima app Messaggi, Centro Notifiche, Condivisione a livello di sistema, AirPlay Mirroring, Game Center e la sicurezza potenziata garantita da Gatekeeper. La porta USB 2.0 permette di condividere in wireless una stampante sulla propria rete, e con la porta Ethernet aggiuntiva si possono collegare computer e dispositivi di rete. Apple updated MacBook Air with the latest Intel Core processors, faster graphics and flash storage that is up to twice as fast as the previous generation.* MacBook Air is the ultimate everyday notebook, and with new lower prices it is more affordable than ever.
