What web browser are you using? and what is your Internet speed?

internet speed 16mbps

I'm going to bet the cpu is playing the video and can't keep up. I also bet that firefox or chrome can't playback video with a voodoo 3.
Check your cpu usage with trying to play back video

And your cpu usage when playing videos from youtube is?
I'm betting your system can't handle playing 720p video via flash in a web browser. VLC on the other hand is much better with hardware usege.
