x3dfxgamers.de brought out a new driver yesterday. And they are saying

It means, that the Versions of OpenGL and Glide didn't changed since the 1.06.01 version of the x3dfxgamers.de driver and that the AM3.1 has been stolen from the 1.06.01 and it isn't possible in the other direction.

you see people, is THIS attitude that makes good guys go away. i somehow feel there won't be future amigamerlin releases, and mesafx may reach its final public release soon.

Its always the same with those guys. It happened after the release of AM 3.0 and now it happens again.
x3dfxgamers is proven to be a bunch of liers and fakers, so the best one can do is laugh about those morons.
I can only hope Amigamerlin and Daniel are not really upset about this incident... |

Hi guys,
I would thanks Daniel for the link to this tread.
As in the past, this ridiculous group of liers continue to stolen other people's job. 
They know only how to use Resource Hack for changing the string in the driver, noting else. They never ever coded and never ever can do usefull thing for our community.
This is what they can do. I can only hope that they don't try to stolen mesa too.
Anyway, as always, Daniel is right.

| I don't think that they are going to steal Mesa. They are changing the copyright on the 3dfxogl.dll from 3dfx to their own. |

well,my german is not perfect,but as far I know this means:
"either you are trying to tell us that AM3.1 was stolen from us,or I really dont know what are you talking about."
he is basically asking that other guy if he thinks that am3.1 was stolen from them..not as I want to defend them (I know about all the screwups they made in the past),but one thing is sure: misunderstanding of a foreign language can cause redundant trouble (learned myself ).. |

| X3dfx gamers also sad they had made a V5 5500 with 128mb. But they wouldn't release pics. They only gave a score from 3dmark2001se. The x3dfxgamers forum is kinda small the voodoo alert forum is much better. The people there aren't making strage acusations. |

Sad but true, you can only take so much.
I can relate as I just shut down my business catering to the turbo Dodge racing community after helping them out for a number of years. I would develop a part, test it on my own cars and then release it to the public.
My competitors would either use their unsuspecting customers cars to test items (selling the parts to them at full price and not telling them it's undeveloped) or would contact my suppliers and start selling the items I developed after they were fully tested at my expense for much less.
Now people who didn't purchasing anything from me are crying about the fact I'm shutting my doors and no longer answer e-mails and they have to try and get answers from people who have never worked on a car a day in their life.

Hey we're a comunity, you help us with drivers, and we all know where they come from, and we make sure we know who to thank. The day I have to pay, plead, or anything of the sort, to get a single driver i'll change cards and thats it.
If these ppl want to take credit for your work let them be, you get our thanks, not them |
