Hi Obi,

many thanks for sharing both info and photos :).

Your build is pretty (wallpaper included), and the 3dfx Voodoo3 3500 TV is the added value of course ;).

I'm hoping to read you again soon.

Bye bye

Hey Glide yea  , I thought  yea why not make something new, even that this build has been with me for about  one year now I think  :)

Next build will be an AMD Alot A build with the AMD 751/751 Irongate Chipset, still a work in progress though, once completed I will make a noew post for that one  :)

Matrox G400 AGP 32MB Dual Head with 2x V2 12MB something in that direction.

Hi Obi,

ok, so we're waiting for yours :).

However Matrox G400 with Voodoo2 SLI is a great configuration for both 2D and 3D. Alternatively a Voodoo2 SLI subsystem also works well with an older but as much collectible Matrox, the Millennium II PCI.

Bye bye

Yea true but since I have a G400 DH AGP 32MB may as well use that  the other option is to just make use of the Voodoo3 3500 TV AGP I have as well, as we both know the image quality output of the V3 3500 is on par with that of the G400 and the V3 3500is deal for old dos games as well.

But top have the g400 DH as 2D /3D Card for OpenGL & Direct 3D this allows me to render in 32Bit color with EMBM support and  the V2 12MB SLI Set is ideal for 3dfx Glide, there is just more functionality with the  G400 DH AGP 32MB + V2 PCI 12MB SLI set.

Ah well I'll see where it all goes.
