Welcome mcmagostini!!!

Wow ! You're the first bloke I've seen in a 3dfx forum which has a 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 PCI Rev 3100 A1!!!! Never knew that the normal Voodoo5 5500 PCI's were built such in late revision! I hope you can send us some photo's, would be nice to see of course :)

Well yeah your right there, but I meant the 3dfx Original boxxes, but yeah it would be nice to find a Powercolor Voodoo4 4500 TV AGP too :) Those L-Cards, are they rare or are they very common?

My Powercolor 4500TV is absolutely normal (this is not the L-Card) with 2 outputs for Composite and S-Video except that the card is very narrow.
This is the version CV350-TV.
5 Versions of the PowerColor 4500 exist (in theory) :
3 with only the Vga Monitor Output (whose the L-card) and 2 with the Composite/SVideo outputs.
Since i never saw a L-Card boxed, i would think that's an Oem version but perhaps i'm wrong.

hmm, Obi-wan, whoever's V5 that is, I hoped they fixed the fan connector before they hooked it up! But why do all the fans have sensor connectors, is there a way to monitor fan rpms on the v4/5?

Hmm maybe, but this is like every other V5 5000, an enginering sample, and maybe 3dfx did that to test the VSA-100's how hot they got with minimal cooling under high stress in 3D apps. It is just a theory of my own, never been in a 3dfx lab before, so I'm not really sure, just thinking out loud.;)

I think that was accident, looks like it just got hit by something. I think they would have pulled the connector, and possibly enev the fan/hs off to test how hot it got...anyways, doesn't really matter.
