Buenas,
Athlon 700 on a DFI AK-70
256MB [100]
Voodoo 5500 AGP 64MB 1.18 Bios SFFT19 drivers
15G HDD
Regarding World of Warcraft & Voodoo 5500:

I didnt even passed the initial test of wow installer yet i manage to have a lvl 41warlock, it gets choppy when there are masses of players, entering and exiting instances, boats, sometimes death meaned graphical errors like missing walls etc.
After a while i found out they were eliminated by changing resolution modes in the video options of the menu. Besides that the game works fine at 800x600 all low settings, but ive been able to run the game fine for 2 hours @ 1024 all high (except pixel shaders & other non supported)
One thing I havent been able to make work is the minimap in closed spaces, as soon as u enter a cave or building, *zit* no minimap, ur out, theres the minimap.
Please any suggestions appreciated.

General Discussions / 5500 connector to lcd

Hi, thanks for your replies, and it was a typo the 36 pin connector, i've got the feature pinout (vesa), and from what i've read in this forum, in voodoofiles.net, and the dutch tweakers site it is possible to do so (connect a lcd to a agp 1.18 voodoo 5500 card), only if you find the correct type of lcd... here, in colombia lcds are cheap, like 125 usd for a 13" TFT Samsung, but this one doesnt work with the connector, ill see what i can find on this, later...

The connector in my voodoo 5500 has 36 pins, the DVI interface has 24 + 4RGB +1GND

If they are connected to the bios then its probably the clock.

I need halp finding out what the is the pinout for the 26 pin connector supposed to be "digital video interface" according to this forum.

thanks again.

Im interested in finding out what is the purpose of the 26 pin connectir in my voodoo 5500, after reading in the forum, there is a possibility of connecting a lcd screen (from an old laptop or buying a new one) to some graphic card connectors, i have researched the standards for lcd screens, and 12" screens require 20 connectors, while larger ones up to 30, please anyone advise.

Anyways if tou have the connector mentioned layout diagram, please let me know
