"Tuesday, April 09, 2002 - AVOID THIS IF YOU'RE RUNNING WIN2K!!!

Maybe some can explain to me why this driver has a Win2k folder when this driver WIPES OUT WINDOWS 2000 PARTITIONS!?!?!?!?! I downloaded this thing to check it out and saw a win2k folder so I decided to give it a shot, figuring that the worst a well-written drive would do is cause me to have to boot to safe mode and revert back to standard VGA if it didn't work. Boy was I wrong. It booted after the install and I went into safe mode to make the file copy that the instructions mentioned. The next reboot it crash-dumped. The next reboot it failed to find the security registry key (why would that happen?). The next reboot it was no longer able to read the system partition. Boot.ini was inaccessable, as was the rest of the partition. Emergency repair was unsuccessful because the partition was GONE!!! WINDOWS 2000 USERS BEWARE!!! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL THIS DRIVER UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO REBUILD YOUR SYSTEM!!! Special thanks to the author for 1) writing a driver that destroys win2k, and 2) warning users NOT to attempt using this product uner win2k."
