^I have a feeling that you're not using a voodoo card with the TV card. When I upgraded to my Radeon, Visual Reality "played" sound but everything else froze. I used the beta 3 drivers for windows 2k (from NuAngel's site), and Dscaler. It should work fine after that.

QuoteWhere did you get the drivers?
lol Arch, I believe those drivers were released after the source code was. But I'm sure the drivers he's using have been way modified.

I was able to fix the flickering in NOLF2 on my voodoo5 by using 3danalyze. Make sure you use the "voodoo flicker fix" check box. But maybe the new amiga's fix it.

Are the SLI issues on the V56k taken care of? I don't have on atm, but I might be getting one. And also, might there be a compat. list floating around anywhere?

QuoteActually, those drivers are older than I thought, even though some of the files are marked year 2008.

lo, Arch, 2003 would sound better. ;) But driverwise, untill Amiga's new drivers come out, I'd say stick with the 3dhq Beta 10's. :)

Voodoo4/5 Discussions / NEW DRIVER SOON !!!

QuoteNow, this kind of posts really annoy me  FYI, I have a PowerColor EvilKing3 Voodoo3 3000 PCI. I also have a V4 and a V5. The V3 is still the king, in my opinion. From the chip point of view, it's inferior, I'll admit. From the card point of view, is better than V4/5. It has been proved stable with crazy timings that give shimmering on V4/5 . Even I could cook an egg on it running, it never failed to display a triangle so far.

So if your Voodoo3 is so damn powerfull and great, why aren't people giving two ****s about a driver update?

QuoteVoodoo 3 support isn't useless, I have a v3  3500! If the driver can emulate some inexistent features and add others, or recompile it to support SSE that would be good in my opinion.
Maybe someone can make the tv feature works in pal-m, which is my only problem with the card.

So you want to emulate features that are non existent on the Voodoo 3? Tell me, how do you emulate 32-bit color? ROFL So let's say that you're able to emulate some features that bring it up to VSA-100 par, so what then. You'd then have to "double emulate" because the VSA family of chips is struggling alot in newer games. Face it, voodoo 3 support is useless for newer games.

Don't wanna sound mean or anything, but Voodoo 3 support is kinda useless. For one, the lack of 32-bit color, as well as the support of hig res textures.  say, if you want to play glide games, put your voodoo 3 up on ebay, and buy yourself a voodoo 5.
