I hope so but, I saw that the PC was freezing (before the card starts to work badly) sometime. Myabe it was because it was about to give up or is that why he sold it [:(!]. I will see this week.

And only hopes ot wont constantly freeze like the other one ...

About the HW T-Buffer Motion Blur effect, is there any documentation that tells how to make an app/dll to call the fonction and how to use it? because there is currently a N64 video plugin (glide64) that will, in the next version, support motion blur but only software which is really slow. I want this to be able to put it hardware for V4/5 to be way faster.

Thanks

Nightbird: No, my V5 wasn't overclocked

Glide: I don't have the old one anymore, like I said :"Ok, now, I got ride of it, (exchanged for free for a brand new MSI GF4 MX440SE-T 64MB DDR with 1 year warranty , my best deal)"

I'm currently waiting for the other one (the brand new one) that I've ordered to arrive. I wanted to know if it was my mobo or the used V5 because I don't want to add another V5 and end up with the same result.

I want to be sure of something.

ok ,first, I already bought an used V5 5500 some time ago. When I received it, I was really happy, tried it with 3rd party drivers with all at Max and found that awesome! but the PC froze after 10 min. I removed my audio card ( thinking it was it because I already had prob with it) I rebooted, and when I tried a game. the screen got all messed up and the whole PC was freezing. I tried number of time without success. It was doing this in no AA, 2xS AA, 4xS AA but not in single chip mode. and in single chip, or not, after 10 min, the PC was still frezing. and when I started a game. It was still freezing but sooner. I also tried on a totally different PC and it was the same thing. (P200, 48MB EDO, WIN98SE original drivers)

Ok, now, I got ride of it, (exchanged for free for a brand new MSI GF4 MX440SE-T 64MB DDR with 1 year warranty , my best deal)

Now, I ordered a brand new one sealed with 90 day warranty on it. It maybe was the other card that was defective and the guy got ride of it and it blown when I had it.

But I want to be sure. Is it my mobo that hates the card and fryies it or it was only the card. please help. I really want to have a voodoo 5 5500 but if my mobo kill them :(
