Hi,
I've just installed RCT3, and when i was using Amigamerlin3.0 i got a problem like: Could not initialize Direct3D . Ok, so i uninstalled Amigamerlin and installed antoher Driver (One3dfx). It worked until when it finishes loading the scenarios. I get a blue screen saying that a .dll got a problem.
My PC:
MSI K7N2-Delta L
Athlon XP 2400+
256 DDR 400
Voodoo 4 4500 PCI
Windows XP

One3dfx is an "old" driver now
- What the game needs like system ? (mini, recommended)
- Perhpas you can try the AmigaMerlin V3.1-R1 or better the last SFFT driver ?

I will try with 3.1 R1 Drivers and the sfft . Thanks, i will post a result later :)
Perhaps you will need 3DAnalyzer if the game needs some T&L.

Ok, tried with AmigaMerlin 3.1 R1 and SSFT Driver, the game runned well but i got the same .DLL error. I went o game options and un-checked the 32-bit color mode. It worked, but when i tried to save game or another action it crashes. After the crash, if i try to run it again i get the dll error (blue windows screen)
The DLL is: 3dfxvs.dll

It restarts after some seconds but i will try get all the text
There is a aetting in the windows control panel somewhere that turns off the reboot after Blue Screen, so that you have to reboot manually. Switch off the auto-reboot and you should be able to get all of the information.

I changed some game options and its working well (window mode) . But my videos (all formats) aren't playing (only sound, the video doesnt work) . :(
Dunno why, but now im getting the blue screen while de game loads and i can see my videos (weird). On the blue screen it metions about my video BIOS and if the problem keeps happening blah blah..
Whats the most recent BIOS for voodoo 4? My BIOS version is 1.5 . But the weird thing is that the game worked a few hours ago from now.
SFFT would need to know the exact error message. ;)
The best thing would be to test it with the alpha 23 using the original game settings and post the details of the Blue screen.
