if you download 3Danalyzer from www.tommti-systems.de you can try Voodoo flicker fix to avoid this.. I used it to solve a flicker problem with BloodRayne on my voodoo5.

I have the same problem in Windows XP (SP1, DirectX 9, 3dhq beta 10 driver).
My system is:
-Athlon 700
-1024 Mb RAM
But it works in Windows 98! (DirectX 9, 3dhq beta 10 driver).
Hey Nigel,
you got Bloodrayne working on your V5 ?
Which drivers/system did you use ?
Just select single chip mode on a V5 with Rise of nations.
That did the trick for me.

no advice about XP/Win2k but you can try the solutions for Win98SE
try putting your desktop res to 16 bit
the RISE OF NATIONS & BLOOD RAINE WORKS FINE WITH 3DAnalize , in this moment i don“t remever de comfigurarion of de 3danaliza but if you would like to put tell me in this pos and I upload
Just set the desktop resolution to 16 bits! The game will works fine, but the cursor mouse will be black and white (no correction avaliable becose the video card vooodoo 5 can't support hardware cursors)
This game cannot run in 32 bits for voodoo cards!!!!!
3D ANALIZER is not necessary!
Here the game works on WIN ME and WIN XP PRO, only in 16 bits desktop.
AMD Athlon XP 1800+ 1.53GHz 512MB DDR
Voodoo 5 5500 AGP BIOS 1.18
Windows ME - Amigamerlin 2.9
Windows XP Pro - Amigamerlim 2.5SE (no more) / Voodoolizer 1.05
Greetings,
I tried to run Bloodrayne on a Voodoo5, XP, Amigamerlin 3, 16-bit color desktop, etc... I still can't get it to run. I tried OpenGL and Direct3D renderers. I have also tried 3D Analyzer with a variety of settings (to be honest, I haven't gotten anything working with the help of 3DA).
Any suggestions? Should I try Win98? Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Crash!
