Title: Rise of Nations Problem!

Need help on Rise of Natons.
The game cannot start on my Voodoo 5 5500 AGP video card!
I used Directx 8.0,  8.1, 9.0, in Amigamerlin 2.5SEXP and Voodoolizer 1.05, no changes, same problem...[V]

AMD Athlon XP 1800+ 1.53GHz 512MB DDR
Voodoo 5 5500 AGP BIOS 1.18
Windows ME - Amigamerlin 2.9
Windows XP Pro - Amigamerlim 2.5SE

edit ur BHGVidCardConfig.txt
i have a voodoo4 and i used this settings
0x0009 = "Voodoo 5"
0x0007 = "Voodoo 4"
   Bad8888
   NoDisablePerspective
   bwcursor=true
   disablehardwarecursor=true
   videocard=notrecommended
   break

dont remember if was just this to change but now i can play (i just see the ground texture when the game is over but its playable)

LOL, very easy!!! I just changed the desktop resolution to 16 bits! (windows XP), and no more! The game run very good, but with de black-white mouse cursor.

Try to use ·Danalize to obtine a beter compatibility

if you wait to exit the amigamerlin 3.0 it´s have a beter compativiliti with the new games

Now I can run on 32-bits, too, i just set "force 32-bits" on 3dfx tools and run dxdiag, and did all direct 3d tests (hardware)... after I just restore "software controlled" on 3dfx tools and all games now can support 32-bits, also ROR!
:-) But i dont recomend, the game runs slower than 16 bits..., but dont need chance desktop resolution every time to 16 bits to run the game, now can change the resolution in game options menu!
