Title: 3D-Analyze with Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
Post by: Blaze53 on 10 May 2009, 04:54:42
Curse the subject character limit. >_>

Out of pure nostalgia and liking PC versions of games more than the Xbox console versions, I decided to reinstall Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. Imagine my surprise when I realize that the game's not rendering lights (like, floodlights and the proper environment mapping) and shadows. I google the problem and I read that v1.31 of PT helps fix this issue. I patch it, and I still have the screwy rendering. I google again and I'm pointed to 3D-Analyzer. Now I get some semblance of what I should enable to get everything to work right, but when I click 'Run' I get a fatal error message. Is there anything I might be able to do for this? I've read that it really does not help you in one mission and makes it a lot harder.

My graphics card is a GeForce 9500GS (I miss my 8600GT) with official 182.50 drivers. I am also running Windows Vista x64 (I also miss Windows XP).

Didn't you enjoy reading my life story? :P

Well, this one worked better than the newest version. I got as far as the level loading screen, but when the load bar reached 100% I got the fatal error message.
