Again. Have no sense compare the two adaptor since the Pericom not-modded works @33MHz.

I suppose osckhar will give a good feedback with the Pericom working @66MHz + Voodoo5 5500 PCI. I am waiting for his result.

P.S.: I guess you are using latest SFFT drivers, but when post a bencmark, would be nice if you was more detailed about software anvironment (drivers used and whatever).

P.P.S.: Are you able to remove the small heatsink and give as a photo shoot of the bridge used on the supermicro adapter?

@voodoo5k6 : Please mod the pericom adapter to work @66Mhz and post the results !

Great work Michael ! [:p]

@goriath :

I can't see the bridge on this adaptor.

I use Koolsmoky Beta drivers. not SFFT.

@m14radu :

Thanks :)

With Supermicro adaptor + Agp2Pci (66mhz) :
( Koolsmoky beta drivers )

Q6600 @ 3,24 Ghz and Voodoo 5 6000 AGP @ 166 Mhz (default) :

Unless the heatsink is glued to the bridge, you should be able to take the pushpins off and remove it.

m14radu

is the score that you achieved with the supermicro adapter and voodoo5 6000 better ?
you get 4849 points.

how much you get with the pericom and PLX adapters ?
Follow your dreams !

voodoo5k6

@Goriath : for supermicro adaptor the bridge is :

Intel PXH-V :

@m14radu : supermicro adaptor at 66 mhz is better than pericom and plx 8112 adaptor ( 33 mhz )@with voodoo 5 6000.
