Well not when it comes to old-core 3dfx people that are selling a rarity like a Voodoo5 6000, it has been more than 2 years that a 6000 hit ebay... so as that goes, why hassle?
Just see this as an exception man ;) The Voodoo5 6000 remains a very rare card especially for 2010, there more the years go by the rarer these things will become.
Just respect Edmund's sale here, this way others will get a chance for this card, if you are a 3dfx collector and 3dfx Die-Hard, you understand such actions..so all I am asking, is show this man some respect, thx.

Even it took me by surprise
Ebay said that I violated both rules
no.1 - advertising of subtitle with keywords that are none related to the item
no.2 - distributing a link in the description page that shows my collection instead of additional info of the card itself
so they force delist my advertisement and I had just relisted today

At least that card was sold to a good owner, sorry about that posting against goriath, I still found it not disrespectful, since edmundoab is a 3dfx collector of the old core even before this place was born, even that it was against the so called *ugh* rules, my opinion does not change from that part. ;)
But it won't happen again if you prefer this.

Well, let me say edmundoab no need to be collector (or whatever) and/or no need to do anything in order to get my respect. My respect goes to him automatically, like any other user can get respect from me.
I do not know much about him behind his nickname, but I had the pleasure to talk with edmundoab in the past; I can say He is a good and nice guy.
About so called respect...Well, I am also a 3dfx collector from 2003, as well as 3dfx gamer before to start collecting. So what is the point of that?? I love 3dfx hardware and 3Dfx golden era even more, just like many others. So, I deserve respect from people for this things? Maybe or maybe not...The point is people do not respect me for this, but for what I can do for people.
I will tell you more; IMHO there is no need to reach any so called privilege status so that people respect you. To be himself would be enough...and appreciated.
About the so called rules, but rules them are...If I were seller and wanted to promote a sale, I would do it where allowed, according to the rules of the place. What about the respect of a place that allow you to express your own ideas and share them with other users? ... I have to admit that edmundoab's sale was a particular and rare event, so I can understand the desire to share this thing with others, in this place
for all things Voodoo, but it can be achieved respecting community rules easily (Forum rules state eBay auction links can not be posted, but them not block you from say something like:
Hey guys! Do you know the news? I am selling my Voodoo5 6000 on that famous on-line auctions site... Come on, let's bid!!)
I must say probably edmundoab was simply distract:) I guess...because He posted this thread in the general hardware forum, not in the trade zone. So I suppose He wanted simply share the important news with other 3dfx people...

Ow I must of been confused with someone else then, didn't we have an Argentinian in the 3dfx club once, maybe I am confused with Gabriel aka Gabb :D
