tweaked the config file so that it uses hardware acceleration now
(i.e. you can set the texture detail and effect detail as you like)
it is sluggish, but it's due to the slow CPU (still that old P4M 1.2GHz)
it is smooth in 90% scenerio and the details are much better than using software rendering..(maybe due to 175MHz core/memory clock)
all details high and 2X AA in V.Control
It's inspired byhttp://www.forum.mitrax.de/viewtopic.php?p=37149#37149
the mouse pointer is flickering and there is some problems with the intro screen and loading screen(screenshots later)
CAUTION! Backup the Original one before use it

Thks ! :)
A question : without 2XAA, how ? since with a V4 4500, this is always a little "slow" if AA is used.
nice job.I will have a new machine for 3dfx testing soon, and I will give it a try.time to slip back to my tester shoes once again;)
Nightbird:
seems there is no effect in terms of speed and quality for enabling AA or not in game:
screenshots are below:
(when you are playing with multiple-stage buildings, sometimes there are misty artifacts on-screen, dunno why)
