I get the same texture errors. Absolutely acceptable given the fact that everything else seems to work. Anyway I just wanted to add that it is possible to get it working by others means.

I installed Amigamerlin 3.0 release and chose safe mode on the game graphics config application.
All settings in vcontrol are on fastest. I then ran 3da and selected emulate max sim text (someone else said that, can't remeber who). Safe mode config automatically reduces all graphics to minimun and chooses 800*600 16. And voila, works fine. This would just be an alternate route, as your method seems quicker and easier, and you dont have to go installing other drivers.

Im sorry, could you specify what setting for vcontrol do you have. I keep getting graphical bugs with the latest release =/ (haven't tried with older releases)

Sorry for posting a shot this big, but reducing size was a bit of a complication at that time. I changed the size now

Voodoo4/5 Discussions / What memory?

How do I recognize the type of memory my card has? All I see are some serial numbers. If that helps then i'll copy them.

Cheers

Celeron D 2,4 Ghz
512 RAM
Voodoo 5 5500 PCI
SFFT latest release

Thats the best I could get, same results (speed included) for high settings.

Didn't try other drivers.

Well, just wondering if showing a screen could give anyone a clue as to any possible solution?

Im still trying to figure out what the f*** you understood from what i posted. Seemingly by the asnwers i assume you understood something completely wrong. But i can't see how that happened [:0]

EDIT 2: What i meant was, the day someone OBLIGES me to pay for a driver, a 3dfx driver, and i fully emphazise on OBLIGES, i will just go and buy another card. I understand you could very well ask for payment, but that would just kill my reason for owning a 3dfx card =/

Hey we're a comunity, you help us with drivers, and we all know where they come from, and we make sure we know who to thank. The day I have to pay, plead, or anything of the sort, to get a single driver i'll change cards and thats it.
If these ppl want to take credit for your work let them be, you get our thanks, not them
