Post by: harriscolin on 12 August 2003, 16:15:54
Hi Can anyone help resolve the following error message :
I get this message when I try to access Paint Shop Pro8.  PSP has caused an error in 3DFX16V3.DRV. PSP will now close. Also when I try to open Norton Anti Virus I get this message Nmain has caused an error in 3DFX16V3.DRV. Nmain will now close.I have tried reinstalling Voodoo3000 drivers but this does not solve the problem.

Ok,

if you do not play with your pc i suggest to use 3dfx reference driver v.1.07.00 located at bottom of this page (https://www.3dfxzone.it/dir/3dfx/voodoo3/archivio/win9x.htm).
You must (re)install MS DirectX 7.0 before driver setup. If so problem remains you could consider an OS change with Windows 98SE for optimal (general) compatibility with your hardware system.

Bye bye
