I download the new amigamerlin drivers for windows xp and installed them correctly (readme). now i cant use opengl mode anymore for any games i get a bluescreen and my computer restarts (when i use opengl)please help me (sorry for my bad english :P)
Try the new 3dhq 1.09 Beta 7 for Windows 2000/XP maibe they will fix the problem! http://www.tdhq.net/main.htm

I think the drivers is not correctly installed !!! .
Please re-read the istruction to correctly install the driver or try to install it from control panel !!!
I don't have had more report of this kind of problem !!!

I have a similar problem, not only with amigamerlin 2.5 SE but with all other drivers. My pc freezes about 10 min after i'm playing the game. Sometimes it resets or shows the xp blue screen.
I have a voodoo 5 5500, atlhon 800, 256mb.
Are you sure that these using the generic file of openGL that has Windows, if you use another one (ej. WinkedGL) put it in the directory where this the installed game.
if possible use last version of Glide of the KoolSmoky and in the configuration of openGL it tries that the quality of image predominates that the speed, Whenever flock uses new drivers the entrances of the registry, of previous drivers, "Attention" ten well-taken care of when you do it
If yet this you do not fix it, possibly you must reintalar drivers, and if continuous without working you must reintall Windows.

i got athlon 1333 mhz, asus a7v, voodoo5500 (agp) 512 sdram.
I re-read the istuction and install the drivers again. i had no other driver install before i installed them (amigamerlil). i got the same problem again. i dont use wickedgl ....
In fact I didn't changed the opengl32.dll. I just installed amigamerlin 2.5 SE.
In the zip file of amigamerlin there are 2 opengl: wickedgl and SGI-opengl.
Should I put one of these in the windows directory?
Don't change the file openGL, first because Windows 2000 & XP won't allow it and they substitute it for the generic one, and second again because then he/she gives many problems.
It places the openGL file that you want to use in the direcrorio where this the executable one of the game to which want to play, and if you want to use the generic one you don't copy none and it used the generic of windows.
Another similar OpenGL also exists to the WinkedGL that comes with the game Return to Castle Wolfenstein that you can also prove if it continues without working you, anyway you to my they work me all the games with the generic one and better yield is obtained

my be a heat problem .. try open your case ad playng game.. If dont freeze you need to better cooling your system.
Please be sure to have the driver installed correctly !!! . If you use Amigamerlin 2.5se read carefully the readme !!!
win2k and xp have a problem with opengl with ALL games and ALL video cards. this is a microsoft known problem. go to microsoft.com and search for "opengl mmx".
