I have voodoo2 sli 16mb and want to play spiderman on it. I tried with MesaFx, but game still doesn't using voodoo2.it uses my s3 virge vx...can u help me??
From what i remember, Spiderman the Movie uses dx8.1 and requires hardware capable of T&L (transform and lighting). Thus, Voodoo 2 cannot run this game by it's design. However you can try your luck with the 3DAnalyze program (available in Tools section on this site). And remember, no d3d for WinXP/2K unless you download Legendgraphix drivers (but you should really stick to Win98 for d3d with Voodoo if you play d3d titles more than occasionaly and want to get something from it yet).
in readme file is: any graphic card with 4mb ram, and it'is playable on voodoo or voodoo2
This is Spiderman (from 2001) and it needs "only" Dirx 8.0

i read the faq and i see :
Q: How do I choose which video card Spider-Man uses?
A: If you have more than one video card in your system you can choose between them by going to the Spiderman Demo folder on your Windows Start Menu and selecting Display Adapter Selector. Select the videocard that you want the Demo to use and hit save.Did you try that ?
edit : Spiderman 1 seems to be an only DirectX game (and not OpenGl)
i tried that, but there is only s3 virge, no v2.....do you have another idea?
