Off Topic / Need some box scans/pictures
28 September 2009, 12:02:08
Hi, I need some pictures of the back of the Voodoo boxes (V2,V3,V4,V5). The text should be readable.
I'm sure there was a site somewhere but I can't find it anymore.
Any contribution would be welcome.
Thank you. :)

Some pages marked with "*" work :D

Like this one:

And the original 3dfx Forums:

The server sometimes loads slowly, you may need to use OpenDNS from http://opendns.com/

Bye :D

Celeron 3 GHz
V5 5500 PCI SFFT 47 + 3dAnalyze (Emulate TnL)
1792 DDR 266

The demo is ~700MB and comes with two levels. I used WinXP sp2 and SFFT 47. I chosed "800 x 600" for the screenshots to be fully viewable.

The game lets you chose between 320 x 240 and up. You can't complain about the framerate on a Voodoo5 on 640 x 480 unless you have a slow processor ( under 2.5 GHz) and low RAM (under 1.5 GB)

The graphics rarely presents glitches on some boxes and transparent windows in the house from the end of level 1 and the hud isn't always transparent but these are minor glitches.

Enjoy:

Level one:

Now, the second level of the demo...which isn't so playabe as the first one, because the frame drop is huge [}:)]

Hope you guys with AGP's have more luck.

Bye
