Title: Anyone has a V5 5000 AGP?
Post by: osckhar on 23 June 2005, 09:49:44
Hi,

Recently I have obtained a V5 5000 AGP4x 32Mb SGRAM. It runs perfectly and without problem under Windows 98SE but under Windows XP it only  works in 2D Mode. In 3D Mode the card has not function. I have tried different drivers and I always get the same result. Any advise?

ps. Anyone has tried his V5 5000 AGP4x under Windows XP?

Regards,
Oscar

Have you tried to force the installation of a SFFT or Amigamerlin driver under a different name? Just install the driver as "Voodoo5 6000 AGP" out of the list ... it should work, I think.

Hi Raff3DC,

I have tried SFFT driver and I have added the PCI VENDOR corresponding to the V5 5000 AGP:

Voodoo 5 000 AGP" = 3dfxvsV5,PCI\VEN_121A&DEV_0009    ;

but nothing.
