mesafx+sw rescaling improves the IQ quite a bit ;)

What if it were texture "resizing" and not rescaling, do you think it would improve even further?

yes,but resizing (splitting the large textures to smaller 256*256 ones) would be way too slow.trust me,rescaling is the way to go;)

..and why not? min.syst.req. for war3 are a 400MHz CPU,and 8MB graphic card.fits exactly ;)

does lag when you battle though... but thats what you get with old tech.
