Title: 3dfx connected
Post by: camperkill on 10 September 2004, 22:03:31
Hello,

I've got a question. today i've got a 3dfx voodoo 2 card and a radeon 9000 pro. Now is my question: is it possible to get the voodoo as a stand alone adapter or does it always have to be connected?

Hi camperkill, welcome here.

Voodoo2 must be ever connected to primary cards because it has 3D accellerator features for games only. This's the rule: then 3dfx developed one NT driver enabling Voodoo2 2D support with one secondary monitor. This is imho just for fun...

Bye bye
