Title: Quake GL and V5 ... Help !!!
Post by: Steph3dfx on 20 February 2006, 02:36:35
Ok my new Vintage system is running with my modded V5.
Now I have a question, what is the correct way to install Quake ???

First the game, next the ''GLq 1114'' patche or the ''3dfx miniinst'' ??
Do I have to copy and paste Opengl32.dll from my system folder in the quake folder ??
Should I go with Proquake, (this is how I run quake with my Radeon X800XL).

I'm a bit lost here.
Thanks,
Stephane

you wont need 3dfxminiinst (the minigl driver) for voodoo5.just install the game, patch it if you want, get the latest gl exe and run it.the game will create the gl content automatically..

Thanks ps47

I decided to go with ProQuake 3.50 (GL version).
