2. OGL and glide2x v3.20.0.1007 put into:

3. Launch V.Control and press "fastest":
Launch the game and use OpenGL, 800/600, 16 bit (if You have VooDoo3).
If You can't see the mouse cursor (MesaFX/OLD WickedGL) open the console (press the ~ key) and type vgui_emulatemouse 1.
4. For WinXP users:

Use 100Hz (at your own risk!!!) on 800/600 res. In game: open the console and type fps_max 100 or fps_max 101.
U have 100 fps :)
(100Hz->fps_max 100=100FPS; 85Hz->fps_max 85=85 FPS...)

cl_showfps 1 or net_graph 3
5. CS 1.6 model fix:
-original model fix:
If you have CS:CZ and CS 1.6 on the same account it automaticly imports the new CZ models and character select VGUI into CS 1.6 as an "added bonus".
This models do not fit the same scale as the normal 1.6 ones so it causes aiming problems.
This patch fixes this and returns the CS 1.6 models to normal as well as the character select VGUI pictures.

I have a P3 450 mhz, 120 gb HD, voodoo 3 2000 and 352 MB ram; Counter strike v 1.6 steam and Win XP Pro Sp2.
I put MesaFX OpenGL32.dll driver v5.1.0.2, 20/5/2004, 01:04:12 in windows/system32. After, put OLD WickedGL from 'falconfly.de' in C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\my_account_name\counter-strike and install for half life Wicked GL Regular Version.
When run Counter strike an error appear, is this: hwcInit: 3Dfx device not found
This error happenend after the change in CS video mode the configuration to opengl and 800/600.

darn,how did that "remove file protection part" slip in? gotta remove it,it was part of an older fix that is not needed anymore,the correct fix is here (http://www.shifter.sk/helppage/default_fix.htm#voodoosandcs).
I was so pi$$ed on STEAM when I updated this fix that I have forgoten to completely remove redundant parts.will be fixed within 24hrs.
I had a Voodoo 3 and i couldn't play wolfenstein enemy terrirory so i tried that mesafx,after it failed to work i gave up and just bought a 128mb nvidia GeForce4 MX 4000, and i guess after all that stuff i did i didn't delete something because when i try to play Wolfenstein enemey terrirory it says "hwcInit: 3dfx device not found!". Under device managers it says Nvidia Geforce4 MX 4000 like it's supposed too and i have uninstalled cleared the game folder and reinstalled the game and it says the same thing..
System:

Processer:AMD Athlon XP 1600+(1.4ghz)
Memory:768mb of RAM

Any ideas?
check your system32 folder and delete glide2x and glide3x if present.btw,mx4000,omg.dont be surprised if it wont run faster than voodoo3..

When I put the "Opengl32.dll" in the Counter-Strike directory (not in "gldrv") and try to play in the Internet, the server kicks me because it thinks that the file "Opengl32.dll" it's a cheat.
What can I do in order to make it work? It really improved the performance...
In the case you recommend me to put the "Opengl32.dll" in the %System32%, how can I do in order that Windows doesn't replace the file every time I copy&paste it?

Windows has no security by definition, so there's no real difference whenever on or off ;)
nope,no need to re-enable it.a normal person would never need the file protection in the first place,this was meant for dummies who like to "clean up" the windows folder (deleting all dll files for example)..thats probably the thing I hate the most about xp-it treats me like a total retard..

Windows Xp Sp2
and Amigamerlin r31 11
Cs 1.6 runs properly with D3D at 20-40fps
but in OpenGl crashes before enter a server.
I WANT 60 FPS !!! =D someone play that game ? configurations and fps plz !
unpack this archive : http://www.3dfx.cz/download/sfft.zip to your windows/system32 folder and overwrite old files..start CS,select opengl,and it should run better.
