hey all,

i ve just install win xp pro on my pc, i tried to install amigamerlin 3.0 but i ve got some problem when i exit from Counter Strike and run Need for Speed Porsche cause my system freeze and i must reboot, so i leaved that and i reinstalled the default win xp pro SP2 driver but it dont works with OpenGL on Half Life game, so a re searched in the net for a better driver that run good with my pc, but .....

there are many many kinds of driver and tweaking tools, i mean...too many and im not so skilled in this, so

any1 of you can help me and tell me what driver and twearing can be good to my system?

Porsche unleashed can have issues running on XP\2000, is the problem just with this game or with other games also ?

i just download that, just give me time to try this one and tell you if my problems are solved.

anyway my problem with porsche without installing the 3dfx tools are passed, but when i play on Counter Strike many time many texture are black, or blue ...
i mean that many piece of wall or ground are black or blue (when these must be like wall or ground color)and anytime when i pass through that piece become in right color (like color of sand or whatever)

is my V3 2k burned out?

argh,

i checked my driver and i see i ve just amigasport driver

there are any other driver to try around?

You could try the SFFT Alpha 23 for the V3, this uses the glide and opengl from Amigersport 3 but has an updated D3D kernel. The updated D3D kernel is used in the later Amigerlin drivers anyway. It fixes a nunber of D3D issues. Its the same D3D kernel for the V3 or V4/5 although the glide files are specific to the V3.

i solved my problem without installing 3dfx tools.

i just installed amigasport 3.0 driver n now everything seems ok (nfs porsche too :)
