Title: Voodoo5 5500 memory change
Post by: Tualatin on 24 May 2009, 18:21:05
Has anyone changed their standard memory chips?

If so, what are they now and what makes the BIOS does accept?

If you don't know in practice tell me in theory ;)

Appreciate all the replies.

2) Can the single chip be bigger than 8 megs?

3) Some boards come Micron equipped whereas some Toshiba. Can they be interchanged?

Thanks in advance!

Have a look here :

We did a group buy for memory modules. Result was a working V5 with 128MB, where all memory modules were exchanged.
