Hey Uros, "dobrodosel" on Forum... You need one? Check this :) http://www2.bolha.com/oglas1038316    He's not serious on the price though... (1111$ and he's got a reserve)

So far no success, I'm looking at 5 eBays, so far just one or two Miro voodoo1 boards (that also have tv-out) and a quantum x-24 daugther card...

well, it sure as hell didn't work for me. I've tried: v3-win98, no go, v3-winxp, no go, v5-win98&winxp no go. I have SE version, maybe the very first one does. It does work under DOS though, but I would like to work under windows 'cos I plan do use the tv-out

Well, I plan to put in 2 v2's, and play games that in the old days required much less than p200pro (which I tend to overclock to 250mhz), so I don't see why cpu is the problem. So I guess tv-out is a no go?

OK. I'm building this small pc, very compact,(p200, 64 mb ram, a two partition disk with DOS on one and win95 on another part., sb128pci, remote controlled cd-rom, built in speakers,...) it's gonna have 3dfx gamepad, kinda like x-box 10 years ago...:) I'm not familiar with pre v3 voodoos. So I need help. I'm gonna put one or two v2 12mb in and I'm thinking of having a tv-out capable 2d card to export picture to a TV. Is this doable? About software, probably just in win95, what about hardware? If not possible, one more thing, which 2d card then to use? I know productiva G100 used to be the best. And win95 because I think win98 has problems with NFS1SE, which this computer must run. Thanks.

So I'm building a computer for older games. First of all I wanna play NFS1, but will put in a voodoo as well. It will be powered by DOS and probably Win95. I know that NFS doesn't work on v3, so I'm thinking v2 (or two of them). Does anyone know if it works with v2?

Are any of you talking about winXP? Cos I am. Using AM 3.1 R1, dx7 mode
my sys:
abit kt7e
athlon 1000/133 mhz
128 mb ram
v5 55k PCI
winxp Service pack 2

Yeah, for me, it only works with directx7 video mode set. Underground 1 still no go on winxp though. Funny thing, HUD is there, you can drive, hear sounds, just CAN'T SEE THE DAMN GAME! I've even tried full graphics, but nothing, don't know what else to do...

General Discussions / A PCI extension cabel??
10 September 2004, 20:19:05
I have a nice idea about my new v5 5500pci mod. I was thinking about doing an outside mod, having the card in a plastic box all lighted up and blazing with fans. Therefore I would need a extension cable between motherboard and the voodoo. Since there is an agp2pci converter, then maybe there would also be this. Anyone know anything?

thx

Well, it seems some volaris are already been sold at eBays. This one in Germany has 15 hours to go, and it's damn cheap!!! just 177 EU right now:

There's another one on the US eBay, don't have the address right now, but it's a powercolor (yeah baby!!!) one, for 400$.

Both are volari duo v8 256 mb, I wonder how high the powercolor is clocked. ;)
