Post by: vinny187666 on 11 March 2007, 08:13:25
hi
im trying to run arma:armed assault on radeon 9250
game needs shader 2.0
i have tried using skip pixel shader version 2.0 but i get this error

cannot create 3d device: Adaptor 0(3d-Analyxe v2.3) Fullscreen Resolution 800x600, format X8R8G8B8/A8R8G8B8/D24S8, refresh 75Hz
Error D3DERR_INVALIDCALL

if i also check emulate pixel shader caps the game goes to launch(ie black screen in 800x600) then i get this error

Failed to read the shader cache file. Missing or broken shdc file?

any ideas guys?
thanks vinny

any ideas or no hope at all?

I don't think your card can handle ArmA
I run Arma on my x800xt and it's quite slow
Even if you make ArmA run it will be unplayable on your card
