What would be the BEST opengl driver for these type of games?

iam having atm D3D, but some1 adviced to play with OpenGL

well, if i rememmber right UT supports glide, which would be the best choice for 3dfx cards.
as for opengl drivers, mesafx is the most compatible one with new games, wickedgl seems to be the fastest one.

Okay, Whats the bvest GLIDE driver for winxp then? (voodoo3 2000) (Amigasport gets stuck, 3DHQ mouse gets stuck sometimes)

First of all UT based games are supported by WickedGL (one of my faves are DeusEX) use wGL

But perfomanse lower then native Glide. WickedGL is miniOpenGL port that redirect OpenGL to Glide. This redirection take some perfomanse (10% perfomanse hit).

But you have the advantage of forceable texturcompression. This makes WickedGL little bit faster than native Glide. Especially in game situations with huge texture amount.
