As this is an important forum where 3DFX fans meet, it is only fair I should update the status of my 3DFX modding projects here too:
Long story short, I will link next the orriginal topics of the mods allready performed:

Voodoo4 AGP 64Mb:

The group-buy of 16Mb chips for VSA100 based cards:
(Contains some nice infos)

Voodoo5 AGP 128Mb:

Voodoo4 PCI 64Mb:

Voodoo4 AGP 128Mb:
http://www.falconfly.de/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1232877537

As for my next projects, it will probably be a Voodoo5 PCI with 128Mb first (if someone were to let me modd one such card of his own, as I cannot afford to buy it). Next, I lack no new ideeas. It is free time I do not have. Realy tough on spare time to work on my 3DFX hobby these days... As a taste of what might be, I am sure I could do a Voodoo2 with 20Mb RAM, an AGP-to-PCI addapter and I might try to make other mods like Voodoo3 with 32Mb, Voodoo5 AGP 4x compatible and so on...
Could be a nice thing if you, the 3DFX fans, were to suggest here what should be the next project and I will see what and when I can do to help.

Post-screen (bootscreen):

Big thanks for Hanksemenec and Mikulaish, this project could never finalized whithout them helping and supporting. Mikulaish provided the extra 32 Mb RAM chips and the BIOS-hacking; Hanksemenec provided tech-info's; I just provided the Voodoo 4 4500 AGP and soldered the memory. After flashing to hacked BIOS I got myself to be the proud owner of this long waited 64Mb RAM single chip VSA 100 video card!
The card is perfect working; all 64Mb RAM are being used. I will post more details as soon as I can spare some free time (I am at work right now...).

Hello dudes! My first topic here, so don't laugh at my modest English... :)
I recently received one dead Voodoo 3 2000 (card only). As I used other 3DFX products in the past, I knew that the retail cards were produced at STB Mexico, but there were few OEMs licensed to produce video cards powered by Voodoo GPUs, often with different PCB design.
My unfortunately dead Voodoo 3 2000 that just came into my posession has original 3DFX design, with minor exceptions (a few different looking capacitors). On the PCB there is marked: "(c) 1999 STB SYSTEMS, INC." on the front and "3DFX Interactive 210-0364-003" plus 3dfx logo on the back.
Almoust the average, one in a million Voodoo 3 2000 piece... But, surprise: on the front PCB there is a sticker that states: "MADE IN CHINA"
I have no foto camera to upload pictures of the card, but lucky me..., as I googled for the serial number on the back (other sticker) I received only one result: one topic on 3dfx.cz 's forum, with pictures included. I cannot understand the language so it gave no real use to me, but there is the link:
http://forum.3dfx.cz/viewtopic.php?t=319
Maybe somebody here can translate it for me...
But first the fotos linked from there:

My Voodoo has PCB date: 0300 and on the AGP notch: 4 -different than on the fotos, the rest is the same: REV C...
Please help me identify the OEM of this card and if possible provide me a translation of the topic at forum.3dfx.cz ( http://forum.3dfx.cz/viewtopic.php?t=319 )
Is it a rare card? I think it is the reference Voodoo 3 2000, but assembled in China ??? Anybody here owns such a piece?
Thanks! [8D]
