Hi All,

When I tried to run Dreamfall with my laptop (Dell Inspiron 700m), error message "Failed to initialize Direct 3D.Aborting" appeared.

Then I tried to use 3D-Analyze with "force max pixel shader version 1.4", "Skip pixel shader version 2.0", "Emulate HW Tnl caps and "Emulate pixel shader caps" . The game managed to be run until menu selection. However, when I selected new game or continue, then black screen with pointer appeared. Sounds and musics work okay though. Some people in the game forum said the game required graphic cards with pixel shader version 2.0.

Here's the spec of my laptop:
Intel Pentium M (Centrino) 2.0 GHz
1GB RAM
SONY DVD+-RW DW-D56A
Display Adaptor Intel(R) 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller

Minimum system requirements of Dreamfall is:
OS: Windows XP (with service pack 2)CPU: Intel Pentium 4 1.6 GHz or AMD Sempron 2800+ or higherMemory: 512 MB RAMHard Drive: 7 GB free disk spaceSound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatibleVideo Card*: 3D Hardware Accelerator Card Required
- 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible 128 MB with latest driversDisc Drive: 8x speed CD-ROM drive or 2X DVD-ROM drive

Supported video cards*:ATI Radeon 9550ATI Radeon 9600ATI Radeon 9700ATI Radeon X300ATI Radeon X500ATI Radeon X600ATI Radeon X700ATI Radeon X800ATI Radeon X1300ATI Radeon X1600ATI Radeon X1800Nvidia Geforce FX 5700Nvidia Geforce FX 5900Nvidia Geforce FX 5950Nvidia Geforce 6200Nvidia Geforce 6600Nvidia Geforce 6800Nvidia Geforce 7800*Intel Extreme Graphics and SIS chipsets not supported

What settings in 3D-Analyze shall I select? Is there any hope at all to play the game in my laptop? I wish I could simply buy a video card. Unfortunately my laptop's graphic card is un-upgradable and I don't have desktop. :(

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Regards,
