yes we all know of clay , i tryed to deal with him 2 years ago when he got the box of 16 v6ks

he seems i heard a few storys of how he sold people non-working v6ks and had to swap a few, other out there claimed he took money without sending the v6k, we assume it be some jelous 3dfx users, does anyone know the true story

i phoned him a few times and clay told me how he got the v6000 from the dallas 3dfx facotry which only shut down 2.5 years ago

non of the v6000 he had would of had hanks v6k mod fix and im sure theres a few non working v6ks out there awaiting to be fixed

send them to koolsmokey to test the twin system config , i say email him and ask if they would be of help since its single chip and he can use them to tune vsa100s on seprate baords

whos got the lengend 3dfx Voodoo6000 card and what drivers are you useing, can all the v6k owners please post here ,so we can all get some better v6k support happening with 3dfx drivers custom modded to suit the v6k and more speeds in 8x fsaa mode with tweaks with certain games,

can all the current v6k kings post your games and drivers and what fsaa modes your running at

you can upgrade the voodoo 5 from 1,06 to 1.16 safely i would belive , as i did it on my v5500agp card and even used the pci 1.16 bios on a v5 agp card and found it to be faster

i tryed the 1.18 and 1.16 and found this pci version 1,16 to work the fasest

IT worth the risk on a vodooo 5 but has hank is saying on the voodoo 6000 cards DONT TOUCH THE BIOS as many have more custom bios and seems a lot more risk of giveing poor hank a headache hey

Hi guys

we need some driver support for these games

Chrome - i had mental lighting problem with cross screen triangles, the same fault as seen in tony hawk 3 under windows xp

Tony Hawk 3 -work in win98 and it has massive problems with the first level in winxp otherwise it runs better under winxp than win98 , except for the fault on first level and when showing tony hawk setup screen, also menu s dont bloody show at all under winxp

tony hawk 4 - does not work

Halo - did not start up

3dmark 2003 - wont run anything even with 3da

redline racer 2 - has speed problems with fsaa and not smooth under the new glide at all

chaser - works nearly perfect , some graphic gitchs shown in lighting, koolsmokey might fixed them in newwest drivers

descent 3 under winxp some chrashs back to the desktop

Hulk game - does not work at all

Tron 2 - demo works with many faults and the full version does not seem to work at all, seem to be confused

anyway list the games which dont work in this post

and hopefull the amigamerlin driver team can get to look at these problems

well my v6k rework is perfect i can run 8x fsaa with no lockups at all and it bitchs along hey

40fps to 60fps in most games at 8x fssa in 800x600 and even 1024x768 sometimes you can get playable frames rates, this is with a msi Kt3 motherboard , tweaked ram setting make the diffrence i noted and athlon 2400 plus

not bad system hey for gameing, very inpressed

3dfx drivers are perfect now for v6k

WELL DONE KOOL AND the KING of 8x fsaa

i cannot get fsaa captured in d3d in dx 7 or dx8 and dx9 under win98 or winxp

help can you one work it out yet on the v6k how to capture games in dx9
