Can somebody out here make a me a voodoo2 sli cable!! I tried making on but keep breaking the pins when pushing teh cable down on them..Iam having issues.

Does anybody out here have a fully updated winME computer that they can copy the update #'s so i can get on microhells download site and manually dl the updates to keep my WinME computer updated for the future?

Microsoft shut down the windows 98 update server fiannly last week..It not just dumps you to a redirect loop that doesnt stop!!So updates are gonna be a bastard but i found this and it works awesome..

Sup all..my trusty DFI socky 7 is giving me issues so i grabbed a p3/933/256/133.Intel D815eea motherboard and got my old voodoo2 machine up again,used onboard everything and slapped in my voodoo2 and it works great...I need the floppy looking cable to sli the voodoo's..Anybody out here have one for sale??i tried making one but i didnt feel to confident.Hit me up on here..

I was doing some thinking today about the Quake 3 box and my original idea of building the computer to run my Voodoo 5500...

For one my Voodoo5 has a bad second GPU and the Intel 845GEBV2 Motherboad is slotted wrong..So i went with an old 9000 i never use and it worked well..Today i decided that if i cant run the voodoo5 ill run a direct competitor from the same year and slapped in a ATI Radeon 7200 32DDR AGP.I also Decided to use the decent onboard audio for simplicty instead of the Sound blaster live.

Running DX7 i updated Quake3 to 1.32 and ran the Four.DM-68 Demo and came up 84FPS..Not bad!!Thats at 1024-768/32bit/Everything cranked..Ill have a new vid soon

I got one of these chips back in 08 after trying to find an adapter for tualatin to coppermine only boards and they work..I read alot of the forums here and know theres alot of ppl on here that use the trusty(and my fav)370 socket..My abit VH6-II only needed a bios flash to get it over the 950MHZ hump and up to 1.4 The seller has a huge list of boards that it works on and a FAQ and feedback site also..pretty Nice[8D]

Sup everybody..New build finished today!!Windows 2000 gave the card a driver but when i try to run quake3 it says somthing about open gl and wont load.I have teh last reference driver from falconfly how do i install the new driver??

Some history here first..2 years ago i decided to see how big of a machine i could build while using windowsME and used a bunch of freebie stuff givin to me over the years and a new windows ME cd from ebay and thats when it all began..The Black Sheep!!Well this week i scored the last 478 intel P4 board with Full ME drivers that i could find(D865GLC)800FSB,DDR400,1.5v AGP and the project will be complete stopping at 3.4/1M/800,512MB DDR400,6600GT/OC,Sil3114 sata raid0,2 seagate Laptop 60gb sata 2.5 HD's,Coolmax 600w triple 12v PSU,Windows ME..I know for a fact i can go bigger to a 775 Abit SG-80 but i HATE 775 push pin coolers..so 478 is as big as i go.Pics this coming week and vids by the next weekend

AGP cards are backward and forward compatible within limits. 1.5 V-only keyed cards will not go into 3.3 V slots and vice versa, though "Universal" slots exist which accept either type of card. AGP Pro cards will not fit into standard slots, but standard AGP cards will work in a Pro slot. Some cards, like Nvidia's GeForce 6 series (except the 6200) or ATI's Radeon X800 series, only have keys for 1.5 V to prevent them from being installed in older mainboards without 1.5 V support. Some of the last modern cards with 3.3 V support were the Nvidia GeForce FX series (FX 5200, FX 5500, FX 5700, some FX 5800, FX 5900 and some FX 5950)Some Geforce 6200 cards will function with AGP 1.0 (3.3v) slots.

It is important to check voltage compatibility as some cards incorrectly have dual notches and some motherboards incorrectly have fully open slots. Furthermore, some poorly designed older 3.3 V cards incorrectly have the 1.5 V key. Inserting a card into a slot that does not support the correct signaling voltage may cause damage.

Motherboard slots with both 3.3 V and 1.5 V keys do not exist.

Whole build went fine..all drivers installed,installed quake 3 and test drive 5..Both games work on single chip mode but when i try to load the games in dual chip mode..i just get black bars across the screen and cant get out of it..have to hard shutdown,Any setting iam missing??

Ive been fooling around with my Socket7 AMD K6-3 machine and iam wondering if i can install a voodoo2 sli setup and use the rage fury maxx as the 2d??Will i have to shut off the dual GPU option on the fury maxx??
