I finally tried SFFT's hint to use Win 10 32bit. Unfortunately it behaves like 64bit. The driver (SFFT or Amigamerlin) can be installed, but afterwards the device manager says "Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware".

It's a little sad we can't use the most powerful 3dfx cards under Windows 10, especially because the Voodoo 2 works. I documented my experiments here:

Any ideas or driver modifications I could try? I would love to have a way how we can enjoy Voodoos without depending on legacy hardware (except the Voodoos of course).

As for PCI-e adapters, I tried a few different models. Only the ones with the PLX PEX8112 chip seem to work. Beware of the adapters you can see here, the do not seem to support graphic cards.

Modding and overclocking / Voodoo 5 pci

Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't the V.Control 1.82 beta able to overclock both chips? My 3DMark results are the same with V.Control, VSA-Overclocker and Powerstrip.

Thank you for continuing your work on this excellent driver!

I'm using it with great results and looking forward to following versions.

It's a known error of this driver you don't have to mind; SLI should work well.
With the last official 3dfx driver this problem isn't existing but than the performance and compatibility would not as well as with the fastvoodoo

Games / Help - Quake II doesn't work right

You also can take the WickedGl opengl32.dll-file. It's optimized for the quake2-engine. You have to copy it to the main-folder of the game.
Try renderer "opengl" first, i had good experience with this setting.

First of all try using another driver like the SFFT-alpha or the Koolsmoky.
If there is the "bug" too its maybe a problem caused by the DVI-Port of the 5500.

Voodoo2 Setup and tweaking / V2 SLI doubt

No its not possible with normal V2.
But by using special Quantum3d-V2-Cards and a special combining-modul its possible.
Have a look at ebay.com

QuoteBut the most important still is a fix for the SLI bug. I'm sure the goddess could kick some more GeForce asses then. Again I can only ask, or better pray to you: Please look at this bug!

Jeah, if any time this bug could be banned, the performance in some games would be greatly improved.

I little test I made.

Half Life 2 is running very well, but Counter-Strike Source has some performance problems.
The problems are not because of Bots because the CPU I used for the test is very speedy.
You can see some graphic-bugs.
When you use a SFFt-alpha up to version #41 those bugs will be away and the textures will be filtered.
