Title: Voodoo 5500 Mac?
Post by: hyakuhei on 16 November 2004, 21:17:45
Hi everyone,

I have a Voodoo 5500 PCI card for the PC.  Is there any way to flash this card for use in a Mac?  I've heard of people doing the Mac -> PC conversion, but not the other way around... any suggestions?

The first problem will be to get a bios for a Voodoo 5 for Mac.

BTW I have V5 5500 Mac but it's not here. I'll dump and post file later.

Hyakuhei,

My I suggest an alternative? I have a MAC Voodoo 5 PCI. I need a PC card. Would you care to arrange a trade?

Thanks,

Uwe

Nope, 3dfx did something to the board so it could not be flashed to Mac.

Try finding it- I have on a 4500 with no luck at all.

It's not just one resistor but a few of them in a pattern.
