I received my great :D Voodoo 3 3500 TV. I installed it, installed the drivers/apps on the CD (on windows 98 SE). I tried the TV out (standard via s-video) working great. but here comes to try the TV tunner and the VIVO. I plugged in my Cable in the tunner and tried to run the 3dfx TV app.
damnit! it is saying to install WebTV for Windows, and for that , go in the add/remove prog, in the windows setup and select "WebTV for windows" but $#^$$^# IT ISN'T THERE! NOWHERE! I downloaded the normal webTV but is doesn't work at all. I NEED HELP!
I'm currently downloading win98se ENGLISH (mine's french but I dont like it) and I will look if it is in.
If not, ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!

ok, just installed the full english version and it is working but 2 MORE PROBLEMS [:(]
1st: I keep hearing the fuzzy sound (like when you on a channel with nothing ) and when I get in windows, the sound is 4X louder = I almost can't hear the TV audio.
2nd: half of the channels are half filled with vertical white lines [:(]

A couple of things you can try:
1.Have you connected the audio cable from your sound card to the 3500?
2.Have u used the setup options in the tuner settings to mute the unused channels?

where?? never saw that.....
Run visual reality, then click on menu (top left hand corner) select the 'audio' tab, then click on the 'audio assistant' button below. Follow the steps accordingly. ;)
ok, there isn't ANY 'audio assistant' button. I tried updating drivers, it fixed the FM tunner, TV tunner wont open, reverted, now FM is perfect but same prob for the TV.
If you got any latest version available for 98SE, tell me/link me.
EDIT: Downloaded latest version possible, the FM tunner is still working perfectly, the TV tunner got the 'audio assistant' button but it doesn't do a sh*t. still damn same fuzzy sound all teh time over teh current channel[:(!].
