as many of us i'm owner of 1 voodoo 5 PCI 5500 because, this can install in the newest motherboards, but with some system comflicts; actualy ist all ready intalled in one intel 865pearl motherboard, with one pentium 4 3.0 GHZ socket 478 and 2 Gb of RAM DDR of 400 Mhz and windows xp professional sp3.
Actually. I use amigarmellin drivers because are more stable, I remplace the glide and openGL drivers for the newest alpha SFFT1.2 drivers; every time that new driver is relesed, i test the driver, and in every time i see the same thing with Direct3d and directdraw, and is that have no support for per pixel alpha channel rendering i tested my card with some little mods y the sourse code drivers,but no with good results. the alpha channels redering works good with the amigarmellin driver, this include support for video playback software support, in one time test the drivers with windowblins, and the amigarmellin driver works better, i hope this could help you
