hi!

Now I have a new system: AMD Athlon XP (Palonimo) 1600+ @ 1900+
128mb sdram
3dfx VooDoo 5 5500 AGP
Win98

I Have 30-40 FPS when im playing mohaa (Medium texture, 1024x768, no FSAA). I Using the leatest offical driver, and MesaFX.

Now I tested whit quake 3: Timedemo 1. I have 107 FPS, max settings (1024x768) no fsaa, and no mesafx (Whit mesafx, I got lower FPS)

basically,you have two choices.the fastest way how to run mohaa is wickedgl (with "compress all" enabled),but there will be few graphics glitches (blocky smokepuffs for example).mesafx will run without errors,but slower..

use TC with mesaFX.

I prefer using mesafx @ 1024x768 resolution, 32 bit colour, 16 bit textures with everything else maxed which gives me great gaming fps (30 - 60).

Note: For me anyway 32 bit textures kills the framerate in some area's of the game sending fps into low 20's [}:)]

Texture compression.
16 bit textures are advisable 'cause they look the same as 32 bit and perform much better!

I use in 16 bit, and its looking like 32. I dont try on 32 bit, because the V5 dont like this color mode..
