Title: Voodoo2 with S3 Trio Onboard
Post by: palatica on 13 June 2008, 13:54:46
Hi! I have an old IBM-PC Model 350 with Pentium 200 MMX, RAM 64MB, onboard graphics S3 Trio with 1 MB Video RAM, and I'm using Windows 2000 SP4. Because of the limitations of the graphics memory, my Windows 2000 resolution is limited to 800x600 with 16-bit color, not 24 bit or 32 bit color. I only get 256 color if i tried to make it 1024x768.

If I try to combine the onboard S3 with Voodoo2 card, will it help to make my Windows 2000 gets a high resolution like 1024x768, 24 bit or 32 bit color?

Please help before i decide to combine it if worthful.

Thanks. :):D

Thanks for your info. I think I better use a separate graphic card upgrade.
